She was very active in the Women's Institute and the Women's Division of Federated Farmers. When her father bought the farm at Whatoro she went with them and helped run the farm. She eventually took it over completely. She was a very keen gardener and had a great variety of friut and vegetables, and also flowers that she often arranged for friends and neighbours.   Death Notes: Age:82   Noted events in her life were: • Misc: Sale, Cir 1957, Whatoro, , , NZL. 1 After she married the Whatoro farm was sold and she moved to Rauwai with her husband. Fanny married Leonard (Len) Albert Edward Williams on 18 Nov 1957.1 (Leonard (Len) Albert Edward Williams was born on 24 Jun 1907.)
