My GIBBINS, BALLARD and other Ancestors’ Family History
Updates to records are spread throughout the file and relate mostly to various cousin lines that I have found from DNA matches.
Please let me know if you find any mistakes in this material
or you have additional information you think might be relevant.

Many hours of work have been put into the research and documentation of these ancestors. I hope you will find the information I present here to be of interest.
Some of the information presented results from the research of a number of (both close and distant) family members. Some of their work helped give me a head start on accumulating this information.
My late sister Helen did an enormous amount of this research and viewed many, many microfilms. Her contribution to the information on these pages was invaluable.
Please contact me if you wish to learn more about this information. I could have more than is presented. In most cases I have included a reference to relevant sources, but not a copy of the source material itself.
NB: The time I have available to devote to family history research varies. Sometimes it is months before I am able to devote sufficient time to this hobby to update what I have. This sometimes means that responses to queries might not always be quick.
I have also uploaded a subset of my family history material to a variety of other genealogy sites.
These include:
